In contrast to traditional ginkgo leaf, Fall Gold Ginkgo is harvested during the peak of the fall season, when the leaves have attained their delightful golden color. According to some herbal traditions, it is suggested to use the leaves harvested during this later point of the season since the medicinal properties of the plant are believed to be at their strongest. As such they have become a staple in our tea blends containing this herb.
