Most of all though, I have spent the last half century doing my best to learn how to be a human being, the hardest thing of all, I have realized, to learn.

I had been familiar with Mr. Buhner’s work from his work Herbal Antibiotics: Natural Alternatives for Treating Drug Resistant Bacteria ( Jan 1999 by Storey Publishing, LLC, July 2012 2 ed. ) and was delighted to find a followup resource in Herbal Antivirals: Natural Remedies for Emerging Resistant Viral Infections (Sept 2013 by Storey Publishing, LLC).

Herbal Antivirals was published with information gathered from the 1999 West Nile encephalitis, 2002-2004 SARS CoV-1, and 2009 Swine flu outbreaks. Several field-tested herbal protocols were provided and now lay the groundwork for addressing the SARS- CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic.

One of the greatest advantages that I see (and have experienced) with these approaches are that 1: they are stepped according to stages and “depth” of illness. & 2: they address the potent cytokine cascade that is produced by this virus’ ability to circumvent and unbalance the body’s own immune response.
